Job Role: Video Editor
Compensation range: $1,600 - $2,400 AUD/month
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: Who The Client Is: Our client is a creative content and strategy agency that partners with brands across industries like real estate, e-commerce, recruitment, and construction. They focus on producing engaging visual campaigns, from digital ads and social media content to branded videos and recruitment materials that blend creativity and strategy to tell compelling stories and deliver real results.
Role Overview: We’re looking for a Video Editor with a sharp eye for storytelling and a deep understanding of brand-driven visuals, someone who can take raw footage and turn it into engaging, high-quality video content. While much of your work will centre on real estate marketing videos (property showcases, agent profiles, community features), you’ll also work across various industries, producing content for social media campaigns, digital ads, and corporate storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce professional video content for real estate listings, agent promos, lifestyle features, and brand campaigns.
- Work closely with the creative and strategy teams to ensure brand consistency and storytelling alignment.
- Add sound design, transitions, animations, and colour grading to create polished final outputs.
- Optimise videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Collaborate on concept development and provide creative input on visual direction.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Stay updated on video trends, editing tools, and best practices for digital and social media platforms.
Requirements- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a portfolio in real estate and/or marketing.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (or similar software).
- Excellent understanding of pacing, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of current trends in social media and digital marketing content.
- Experience with colour grading, sound editing, and motion graphics is a plus.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, high-quality work under deadlines.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with drone footage or real estate videography.
- Background in marketing or social media strategy.
