DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to Shopify and other e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento)
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap audits to inform product page optimization and blog content
- Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, internal linking) for product listings, collections, and landing pages
- Collaborate with content, design, and dev teams to implement SEO best practices across site architecture and UX
- Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Shopify analytics
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (crawl errors, site speed, mobile usability, indexation)
- Stay current with algorithm updates and e-commerce SEO trends to maintain competitive edge
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong portfolio of e-commerce results
- Deep familiarity with Shopify SEO (liquid templating knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with other platforms like Amazon Seller Central, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding; experience working with developers is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with international SEO or multilingual stores
- Familiarity with CRO, paid search, or email marketing is a bonus
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data for e-commerce
