Medical Copywriter & Content Creator | Remotely
BasharSoftWiredIn seeks a Medical Copywriter to create compelling content for pharmaceutical and
healthcare clients across the GCC region. You'll write engaging copy that resonates with
healthcare professionals while maintaining medical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation (50%)
• Write clear, compelling copy for pharma campaigns and medical society materials
• Develop social media content for healthcare professional audiences
• Create email campaigns, newsletters, and event communications
• Write video scripts for medical education and promotional content
• Develop headlines, taglines, and body copy for various marketing materials
• Transform complex medical information into accessible content
Social Media Content (40%)
• Write platform-specific content (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
• Develop content calendars for pharma brands and medical societies
• Create engaging posts that encourage HCP interaction
• Adapt scientific content for social media formats
• Ensure all content meets pharma compliance guidelines
Collaboration (10%)
• Work with design team to ensure copy and visuals align
• Coordinate with medical team for accuracy review
• Support account managers with client presentations
• Contribute to campaign brainstorming sessions
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or related field
• 2-4 years of copywriting experience (healthcare/pharma preferred)
• Portfolio demonstrating medical/healthcare content
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
• Agency experience is a plus
• Experience with GCC markets (KSA, UAE) is plus
