We are seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native applications on AWS. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys bridging the gap between application development and infrastructure management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, implement automated deployment pipelines, and ensure applications meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while aligning with team objectives are key to success.

Accountabilities:

·         Architect, develop, and maintain cloud-native and serverless applications on AWS.

·         Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

·         Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.

·         Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

·         Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and security best practices.

·         Apply DevOps automation, monitoring, and logging to enhance system efficiency and observability.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·         4+ years of professional software development experience with Python or Java.

·         Hands-on experience with AWS core services: S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch.

·         Proficiency with containerization (Docker), orchestration (ECS/EKS), and microservices architecture.

·         Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) and Git version control.

·         Knowledge of AWS SDKs, CLI, IAM roles, security best practices, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

·         Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.

·         Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced agile environment.

·         Must hold or be able to obtain IRS MBI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

·         Experience with API Gateway, event-driven architectures, and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
