Mangomint is seeking an Associate Video Editor, as a Contractor, to work with our Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in creative environments, enjoys video content creation, possesses strong organizational skills, and has extensive experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Working under our Sr. Video Production Manager, you'll become an essential part of our content creation process, helping craft compelling stories about our product and customers.

What You’ll Do
Take on rough first pass edits, and full editing projects, from start to finish
Take the lead on footage backup, organizing our video server, and compressing camera raw footage
Build editing projects within a templated system and organize footage within timelines
Multicam sequence creation
Cut down long form interviews into the best usable chunks
Categorize interview segments by topic
Trim b-roll into the best usable clips
Source royalty free music tracks
Create closed captioning for video projects
About the Project
At Mangomint, we work on diverse video projects. These range from customer testimonials to product feature announcements and updates. We're increasingly producing Video Tutorials and Advanced User Guides, while also maintaining a YouTube channel with approximately 30K subscribers. Additionally, we provide comprehensive video support for Mangomint's annual week-long company conference—handling pre-event, live, and post-event content.
Experience in a studio or agency environment with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects)
Skills with color correction, audio dialogue cleanup, and multi-camera editing/syncing
Detail-oriented and organized approach with commitment to project best practices
Self-starter mentality—able to take initiative and work independently
Receptiveness to constructive feedback and willingness to revise work accordingly
Demonstrated skill in quality storytelling
Understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience with video content creation and visual storytelling
Bonus points if you have experience with:
Motion graphics creation
Cleaning up audio files with Izotope
Working knowledge of color correction, noise reduction, & subject masking in DaVinci Resolve
